Risa received her Master’s degree with honors from the College of St. Catherine in 1999.  During her studies she completed numerous specialized internships including an elective dermatology rotation.  Prior to her dermatology career, Risa specialized in Internal Medicine and Oncology.

Risa has worked and specialized in the field of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology since 2005.  She is trained and qualified to diagnose, treat and prescribe therapies for a wide range of medical and cosmetic dermatological conditions.  She has advanced training experience in Botox Cosmetic, Juvederm, Radiesse, and Restylane.  She is also a Certified Allergan Trainer for Juvederm.
Risa’s passion and interest for full-spectrum dermatology is recognizable and respected.

Risa  finds great fulfillment in spending time with her family and friends, flower gardening,  and listening to live local music.  She also enjoys helping others whenever the opportunity presents itself.
