Rehana Ahmed specializes in Medical, Surgical, Pediatric, and Cosmetic Dermatology. Additionally, she comes to Dermatology with a background in clinical research with an emphasis on cancer development and survivorship issues. Her work has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine and JAMA (rehanaahmed.com) and reported about in The New York Times, among other publications. She is the recipient of the Minnesota Medical Foundation Rosa Steer Breast Cancer Research Award, a PEO foundation scholarship, and a recent Women's Dermatologic Society Mentorship Grant. In addition to her clinical work, Rehana serves on the board of Survivor's Training, a Twin Cities-based non-profit organization which works to "raise awareness of the importance of exercise for cancer survivorship and to promote regular physical activity as an essential therapy for those diagnosed with cancer."
