Joan brings with her 33 plus years of nursing to Uptown Dermatology and SkinSpa. Her first 14 years were primarily OB and surgery. The last 19 years have been in Dermatology (including surgical assisting with MOH'S Micrographic skin cancer removal and repair) and worked with Dr.Jaime Davis for 6 years in Albert Lea, Minnesota before starting here in 2005. Joan has 10 plus years of experience with laser treatments.

When not in the clinic, Joan enjoys photography, traveling, and working with stained glass. She also enjoys spending time with her family, husband James of 26 years and their 5 children, Brandon, Brooke, and triplets Brett, Brady and Brianne.

Joan enjoys surgery and the "hands on approach" to dermatology and cosmetic skin care.
